NOVENA ART was formed by Joseph DeVito specifically for the conception and creation of religious themed art.

All commissions are composed, drawn, painted and/or sculpted personally by the artist to maintain the very highest standards.  Restoration of damaged statues is also a forte that is undertaken on a select basis. Limited or open editions of paintings and sculptures can be designed, packaged and produced in various sizes for all purposes.

Mr. DeVito creates his original art by hand using traditional, time-honored techniques. Preferred mediums in two dimensions are charcoal, graphite, and oil paint. For everything from bas relief to sculpture in the round, wax, various clays, bronze and newer acrylic gypsum blends are the mediums of choice.

With the ability to work in both two and three dimensions, whether portraying the traditional or the spectacular, his focus is always on creating beautiful images that inspire contemplation.
