The images, originally completed in graphite,  were then etched into granite. These were used for a beautifully designed rosary path containing five well spaced edifices, one for each decade of the rosary. Each edifice contained a 4'x4' granite panel on which were etched all four Mysteries of the corresponding decade: Panel one contained decade one of each of the Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful and Glorious Mysteries; panel two the second decade of each of the Mysteries and so on.
