2012

  • Recent events include the completion of a series of 20 images depicting the Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful and Glorious Mysteries of the Holy Rosary for the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate in Bloomington Indiana.
  • The completion of a life-size replica of 'Mary: Mother of the Life Within' statue for St. Michael's Parish in Huntersville, North Carolina, and the final painting of the Fatima series, First Saturday Devotion for the World Apostolate of Fatima Blue Army Shrine in Washington, New Jersey.

2010

  • New Oil Painting ‘The Promise’ depicting the apparition of the Virgin Mary to the three children of Fatima completed for the World Apostolate of Fatima
  • New Oil Painting ‘The Sacred Heart’ completed for the World Apostolate of Fatima
  • New Oil Painting ‘The Immaculate Heart’ completed for the World Apostolate of Fatima
  • The Story of Fatima permanent Gallery opening on May 13 inside the main chapel at the Blue Army Shrine in Washington, NJ where ‘The Request’, ‘The Promise’, ‘The Sacred Heart’ and ‘The Immaculate Heart’ paintings will be on permanent display with Salvador Dali’s ‘Vision of Hell’. The exhibit spoken about live on NJ radio during the 93rd anniversary of the appearance of Our Lady of Fatima
  • ‘Mary, Mother of the Life Within’ life-size replica statue commissioned by St. Peter’s Parish in Elizabethtown, PA
  • Society of Illustrators Philadelphia Sketch Club Illustrators show featuring members past and present of both prestigious organizations.

2009

  • New oil painting The Request completed for the World Apostolate of Fatima and presented during the annual ‘One World Praying’ event and shown on world-wide television via EWTN
  • Entered into agreement with Life Cycle Books to manage the world-wide distribution of all ‘Mary Mother of the Life Within’’ 3”, 8” and 14” replicas and related imagery
  • Best In Show Award from the annual Phillistration Exhibit at the Philadelphia Sketch Club (the oldest continually operating professional art club in the United States)

2008      

  • VITO AND JOE DeVITO, BROTHERS IN ART:  A Twenty Five Year Retrospective, at the culturally significant Ashawagh Hall, Springs, East Hampton, New York.
  • Completed a full restoration of the historic Russian icon, the Odessa Madonna’, which had been burned in a fire. Currently at work on producing several replicas
  • ‘Mary, Mother of the Life Within’ life-size replica statue commissioned by and dedicated at St. John The Baptist Parish in Ottsville, PA
  • ‘Mary, Mother of the Life Within’ life-size replica statue commissioned by and dedicated at St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Lyndhurst, NJ

     
2006

  • First ‘Mary, Mother of the Life Within’ life-size replica Statue commissioned by and delivered to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish in Hilltown, PA.
  • THE ILLUSTRATED IMAGE show at the James Howe Gallery, the premier teaching gallery at Kean University.
  • The design and completion of two, identical, twice-life-size Madonna and Child sculptures and the 90 wide by 75 foot deep site on which they reside. The statues, given the title ‘Mary, Mother of the Life Within’ by the Seminarians for Life at the St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Wynnewood, PA, inspired Michael La Corte, Executive Director of the Blue Army Shrine (World Apostolate of Fatima) in Washington, NJ, to create the first ‘One World Praying’ event on October 2nd.
  • ‘One World Praying’ centered on the simultaneous consecration of the ‘Mary Mother of the Life Within’’ statues on opposite sides of the Atlantic. Bishop Seraphim, of the Diocese of Fatima, Portugal consecrated one statue inside Domus Pacis (House of Peace) on the grounds of the Fatima shrine in Portugal, where the Blessed Mother appeared to three shepherd children in 1917. Bishop Bootkoski, of the Diocese of Metuchen, NJ consecrated the second statue at the center of the new, specially designed site at the Blue Army Shrine.
  • 100 million people participated to make it the largest single day of organized prayer in world history and has become an annual event broadcast world-wide on both radio and television by EWTN.
